These days are very busy, cold and even if spring is around the corner, sometimes I need a little kick to go through the day! Smoothies are a good way to fuel the body and as far as I am concerned, the simplest the better! I use seasonal fruits only, so here we go with my favorite smoothie:
Ingredients (for 2 medium sized glasses)
- 3 oranges
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp greek yogurt
- 1 tsp agave syrup (if you want to sweeten your smoothie or if your oranges are a little bit bitter)
- Vanilla bean
- Crushed ice
Combine all the ingredients and mix them well. You can split the vanilla bean in two and mix the seeds with your smoothie or use it as a stirring spoon. The flavor is so strong, it is enough to infuse the whole smoothie.
